One of my personal top things to do in Boston. A superb restaurant + cocktail bar with insane views from the top of the Prudential tower.
For the second day of my quick trip to Boston earlier this week I had planned a romantic lunch for me and Tanja at the beautiful Top of the Hub restaurant. The restaurant is located in the heart of Boston, inside the Prudential centre which is a big cooperate building, mall, restaurant centre and I don’t even know what. But what makes it really interesting is that the restaurant is hidden up on the 52nd. floor of the building!
The highly awarded Back Bay restaurant and it’s cuisine focuses on local ingredients and New England’s seasonality in it’s menu. And the bar was impressive with a great selection of signature cocktails.
The food & drinks were great, but all my hype goes undoubtedly to the beautiful restaurant itself and mainly the fact that it’s huge glass windows in every direction allow you to explore all of Boston and it’s skyline from above … which is truly remarkable.
Tanja & I decided to visit Top of the Hub for lunch rather than dinner this time, mostly because we wanted to enjoy the views in daylight and we wanted to photograph the experience. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest and sat there for at least two hours, drinking, dining and soaking in the views.
Here are some photos that I think describe the whole thing a lot better!
And lastly, here is one powershot from Tanja’s Instagram!
